- New P2E game Space Misfits to reward its Alpha testers NFTs for free.

A recently released P2E game Space Misfits will drop non-fungible tokens (NFTs) as a reward to its players. The A space-based Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) announced on Twitter how users are able to claim their free NFT along with the “perks” that NFT holders will receive.
What Is Space Misfits?
Space Misfits is a free-to-play 3D Multiplayer Space game. The game is built with ENJIN blockchain technology, providing players with a P2E opportunity for just playing the game. Also, the game is backed by several companies including Animoca Brands, GD10 Ventures, Enjfi, Enjinstarter, Master Ventures, and Seedify.
The game currently has two featured versions. The first is a PVE version that allows players to explore space, mine asteroids, fight NPCs, build ships, repair/fuel ships, and purchase minerals on the market. Meanwhile, the other is a simple alpha version that is in test mode.
Players are not required to buy anything to play the game. However, players must purchase NFTs if they want to speed up their earning capability and development in the game. Players can develop in the alpha version by purchasing Striker and Deathkiss Blueprint NFTs.
Misfits players can earn the in-game currency BITS via trading or hunting NPC. In the future updates, BITS can be exchanged for ERC20 tokens that will allow them to sell in exchanges at a later date. Space Misfits economy is based on the $CROWN token and will be launched on Ethereum. The token will be bridged to Binance Smart Chain to provide cross-chain support.
Alpha NFT Holders Benefits
According to Space Misfits news blog posted on April 19, the NFT will be rewarded to participants who already walked with them for a long time and those new players that are joining to play its “Private Alpha Testing” each day. The NFT will only be exclusive and redeemed to those who participate before the game finishes its Apha test stage version of the game.
NFT Holders will be receiving three main benefits: First, holders will have an exclusive “Alpha Class” title. Second, Alpha NFT holders will be provided with a “Unique Holosticker,” which allows players to customize their in-game Space Ship. And lastly, Alpha testers will also have a “Special Discord Role” on its discord community.
Meanwhile, the p2e game announced last month an airdrop worth $5k CROWNs that will be shared by 500 random winners and $16k CROWNs shared between in-game participants ($4k per event week). In addition, their staking feature will soon be launched. Hodlers can stake their tokens via a future staking dashboard and earn CROWN (SMCW) token rewards.
