After the floundering of a number of cryptocurrency firms in recent months, crypto personalities have been leading the online charge toward Bitcoin adoption. For instance, Lark Davis, a Bitcoin investor, and educator, has tweeted his stance. Davis advises on Bitcoin purchases saying: “Buy the ticket, take the ride”
Importantly, Bitcoin has seen several price cycles over the span of more than 12 years. The BTC pair has since bounced back to record-fresh highs.
There will inevitably be boom and bust periods with every new technology. For instance, Amazon stock crashed from almost $100 to only $5 at the conclusion of the dot.com period in the 1990s. Only later, it developed into one of the most valuable businesses in the world.
Lark Davis has also shared times when Bitcoin went to its all-time high. These are November 2013, December 2017 as well as in November 2021. At these times Bitcoin hit $1,127, $19,665, and $67,617 respectively.
The real kicker, in Davis’ opinion, is that all of these highs occurred within four years and a few weeks of one another. His forecast, therefore, places the subsequent new peak in November or December 2025.
Notably, the current price of Bitcoin is $17,223.27 with a $21,274,167,868 24-hour trading volume. In the past 24 hours, Bitcoin has increased by 2.35%. With a live market cap of $331,183,064,351, CoinMarketCap ranks BTC #1. 19,228,812 coins are in circulation at any given time, with a maximum of 21,000,000 coin supply.
