As seen in the announcement above, Bitcoin Alive will become the very first Bitcoin-exclusive cryptocurrency conference in Australia. The event will be held on April 15, 2023, at the Roundhouse in Sydney, New South Wales (NSW).

The page does not have a finalized list of speakers and sponsors, although the organizers guaranteed some of them will come from Australia.

Also, the conference is encouraging influential people in Bitcoin to join the event even if they do not hail from the said country. In fact, the organizers are encouraging people to tag these personalities for a potential speakership slot.

Meanwhile, the Africa Bitcoin Conference (ABC) is about to end tomorrow, December 7, 2022. So far, the said conference is reporting a lot of positive news for the crypto space.

For instance, Jack Dorsey, Twitter’s former CEO and the current CEO of Block, announced during the event that his company has led a $2 million funding round for Gridless, an Africa-based bitcoin mining firm.

Currently operating in Kenya, Gridless is planning to expand to other East African countries soon.

In other news, the crypto market seems to have regained its composure after experiencing the shockwaves of FTX’s tragedy. Specifically, BTC is maintaining its $17,000 support price, although trades went as high as $17,300 yesterday, December 5, according to CoinMarketCap.
