The Women in Web3 has partnered with Metaverse game The Sandbox to launch the very first Web 3.0 women meetup in Paris, France June 8.
Read CRYPTONEWSLAND onThe Sandbox was not new in supporting women in crypto space. Recently, the company provided World Of Women NFT $25 million to support women in the Metaverse.
Women in Web3 was created to bring together the community of women interested in Web 3.0. It aims to empower the next generation of Web 3.0 female leaders, creators, and builders in the space.
According to a recent research report by crypto marketplace Gemini, only 26% of Web 3.0 investors in the US are made up of women. In addition, women who invested in the largest cryptocurrency Bitcoin are made up of 15%.
Nevertheless, there are more women interested in diving into crypto than men: 53% of the total “crypto curious” are women who are interested in investing into Web 3.0.
With only 90% of men present at events, the Women in Web3 are here to alter the trend by enlightening the female community with cryptocurrency, NFTs, and Metaverse.
On June 8, the organization will launch a female meet-up with the help of The Sandbox exclusively for the curious, leaders, experts, and investors to understand everything on Web 3.0. The event will feature talks with surprise guests at Casa Italia in Paris that starts 7pm CET. To join, participants must fill out the registration form and gain an incredible experience along with the women of Web 3.0.
