Privacy-focused Web3 platforms Akash and Secret Network revealed that they have collaborated with a division of the US Department of Defense (DOD). Together, the said entities have created a DOD unit website that runs on Akash.
The post that was retweeted by Akash Founder Greg Osuri said that the collaboration started in July. Specifically, Akash and Secret Network community leaders participated in the BRAVO Hackathon organized by the DOD from July 18 to 22.
The said Web3 platforms built an application that uses the so-called Secret Smart Contract, which won awards during the hackathon.
The thread also said that the Akash and Secret Network teams presented the app to Lt. Gen. Russ Mack, Deputy Commander for HQ Air Command Unit. Alongside the app, the collaborators also built a website for a DOD unit. However, other details were not disclosed yet.
