In a groundbreaking move, The Sandbox and Sandsoft, renowned names in the gaming industry, join forces with Nuqtah, a leading web3 infrastructure enabler in the MENA region, to propel the adoption of Web3 technology in Saudi Arabia. This strategic partnership aims to empower creators and cultivate inclusivity within the blockchain ecosystem.
The focus of this collaboration with Nuqtah is to curate immersive gaming experiences tailored to the preferences of Saudi Arabian gamers, elevating the region to the forefront of the Web3 gaming landscape.
Nuqtah will kickstart this initiative with a Design Contest in early 2024, utilizing VoxEdit, The Sandbox’s 3D editor. The contest targets local creators, with winning designs featured on Nuqtah’s NFT marketplace. The trio will also collaborate on enabling creators to construct region-specific experiences within The Sandbox metaverse. Nuqtah, in turn, plans to list land and avatars from The Sandbox on its NFT marketplace.
