Shiba Inu’s Layer-2 network, Shibarium, is gearing up for a significant relaunch after initial hiccups. The network has undergone extensive enhancements to ensure it can handle substantial traffic levels.
Shytoshi Kusama, the enigmatic Shiba Inu developer, recently shared insights into the upgrades in a blog post. After rigorous testing, Shibarium is now fortified with a new monitoring system and additional safeguards. These include rate limiting at the RPC level and an auto server reset to manage surges in traffic.
Kusama expressed optimism about the network’s readiness for public access soon. Furthermore, the introduction of more validators is on the horizon, marking the final testing phase before its public debut.
The team is also diving into the implementation of the ShibPaper, a detailed roadmap for Shiba Inu’s quest for full network decentralization. Kusama envisions this blueprint transforming into a tangible governance and management system by year-end, reinforcing Shiba Inu’s commitment to a decentralized digital future.
