Two months passed, and Gemini-owned NFT marketplace Nifty Gateway announced its partnership with Samsung to develop the first-ever smart TV NFT platform.

According to the announcement, the smart TV was developed for exploring, purchasing, and trading digital arts and collectibles. Their partnership has integrated Nifty Gateway with Samsung NFT platform. This reaches over their 2022 premium TV products, which include QLED and Neo QLED TV.

Nifty Gateway will also provide their independent app for The Frame and MICRO LED offerings. This enables customers to browse NFTs from the comfort of their couch. Moreover, customers will have access to more than 6,000 art pieces from top artists including Beeple, Daniel Arsham, Pak, and more.

Nifty Gateway Co-Founder Duncan Cock Foster said that the company’s mission was to bring NFTs to “a billion people”. He also said that they plan to provide an easier way for customers to “buy, sell, create, and hold NFTs.”

Foster added:

“With our mission in mind, we couldn’t be more excited to partner with Samsung to develop a groundbreaking NFT collecting experience. Their dedication to user experience and focus on the highest quality displays aligns perfectly with our vision to allow anyone, anywhere, to interact with their favorite creators.”

Nifty Gateway NFT marketplace also provides benefits to Samsung and its customers. These include ensuring customers receive quality-verified digital art, providing custody options that allow users to store their NFTs in a secure Nifty Gateway called Omnibus wallet, and payment flexibility.
