- Redditors are debating on whether Cardano indeed made an appearance at the Super Bowl.
- Someone claimed Charles Hoskinson was in the ad discussing Cardano staking.
- It is highly possible that the post was fake, as there is no reliable source for it.
This year’s National Football League (NFL) Super Bowl is the total opposite of last year’s for the fact that there are zero commercials from any crypto company. However, there are rumors floating around on social media, especially Reddit, where Cardano snuck in a 30-second commercial. Did it really?
According to a Reddit post, the Cardano commercial came in the form of Charles Hoskinson casually explaining why Cardano is better than Ethereum.
In detail, the post alleged that Hoskinson appeared as if in a regular vlog, and then he tossed a football while promoting Cardano staking.
The transcript, according to the post, said:
“While the SEC attacks staking as a service it’s important for everyone to remember, unlike Ethereum, Cardano is highly competitive and the best choice for your Staking needs. Thank you, America; may the best team win.”
Given that not everyone was able to watch the entire Super Bowl, some are confused as to the authenticity of the post.
However, no other reports have been posted by credible sources similar to the above-mentioned post. Given Super Bowl ads are taken very seriously by many people, it is safe to assume that the alleged Cardano commercial is not true.
Super Bowl ads by tradition are highly talked about since they are very expensive. For this year, any company would have to pay $7 million for a 30-second commercial.
