Other leading platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook are at the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th spot, respectively.

Coinbase reached the second spot after it made an appearance at the Super Bowl, the annual playoff game of the American football league.

The ad proved highly successful, as many people who saw the video downloaded the app. Despite its simplicity, a lot of people were able to connect with the ad and with how it resembled the pre-digital era.

On the other hand, Coinbase crashed for a few minutes due to the traffic of people who downloaded and used it at the same time. At the time of writing, the app is now functioning.

Meanwhile, major competitor Crypto.com also aired a commercial during the Super Bowl. This time, Crypto.com featured NBA superstar LeBron James.

Aside from Coinbase and Crypto.com, FTX had its share of screen time. In fact, Wall Street Journal dubbed this year’s Super Bowl as the ‘Crypto Bowl’.
