9GAG Purchases a Large Amount of High-end NFT “BAYC”

According to a recent tweet posted by CryptoNewsLand (CNL), a Chinese virtual currency (crypto asset) analyst named “Meme Factory,” 9GAG (memeland. eth) spent 796.87 ETH today to purchase 8 BAYC (9299, 128, 2059, 4673, 8293, 9286), and the only thing that these individuals have in common is the fact that they all wear hats. This address now contains NFTs with a total value of more than 5,900 ETH, which is equivalent to around $9.6 million.

9GAG is a social media and online community site that is based in Hong Kong. It lets users publish and share their own content as well as content from other social networking sites.

Memeland is a web3 venture studio that was founded with the goal of giving each and every community on the planet a piece of ownership. 9GAG claims that it has a “global audience of 200 million across a variety of social networks” at the present time.

In addition, Memeland and 9GAG have also created several NFT collections, including but not limited to The Captainz, The Potatoz, and You the Real MPV.

On Twitter, a cryptocurrency trader who goes by the name Cirrus shared an image from the Memeland Discord channel. The screenshot included an indication that Captainz would hold a lottery for the apes.

Cryptoslam, on the other hand, asserts that the Otherdeed NFT collection has been the best-selling of all NFT collections over the course of the last week, with $17.5 million in secondary sales.
