Viacom International Is Bringing TMNT to Web3

In a series of tweets, trademark attorney Mike Kondoudis disclosed that Viacom International has applied for new Web3 trademarks for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT). The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) received the TMNT trademark applications submitted by Viacom on September 6.

Downloaded virtual products, such as crypto-collectibles and non-fungible tokens, include Downloadable multimedia files with artwork from the entertainment industry authenticated by non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Software for transmitting crypto-collectibles and application tokens is referred to as software as a service (SAAS). Online, non-downloadable computer software is made available through a platform as a service (PAAS), which is software for accessing crypto-collectibles and application tokens. This allows the transfer of crypto-collectibles and non-fungible tokens.

In other updates, Paramount Pictures has also filed a Web3 trademark for Mean girls. According to reports, Paramount pictures filed the two trademark applications for Mean Girls on September 7.

For Mean Girls and TMNT, Paramount Pictures and Viacom International both submitted identical trademark applications. Both businesses are related since Paramount Pictures and Viacom have a history of working together via a number of corporate mergers and splits.

The TMNT and Mean Girls trademarks cover downloadable multimedia files with entertainment-related artwork validated by non-fungible tokens (NFTs), as well as crypto-collectibles and NFTs.
