Music NFT marketplace HitPiece is under fire for selling music without proper authorization. Part of the artists affected by the unauthorized music selling was Korean hit BTS. The platform did not apologize to the musicians. HitPiece, a music NFT marketplace, has recently drawn flak from artists and fans for selling music without proper authorization. Various artists who appear to have no prior knowledge that their work has been minted into NFTs only found out about HitPiece after the said incident. This is because HitPiece is only a startup.
