Precipitate.AI, a key player in AI blockchain infrastructure, has officially adopted BONE as a payment option. This decision followed a unanimous vote in the platform’s recent governance session, marking a significant endorsement for the Shiba Inu ecosystem token.

During the voting process, which spanned from May 20 to May 23, the community had to choose between BONE and LEASH for the new payment method. The single-choice voting mechanism recorded a snapshot at block 19,886,694. 

A quorum of 5 million RAIN was needed for a valid vote, and the total votes cast were 8.4 million RAIN. BONE swept the board, garnering all 8.4 million votes. A substantial portion of these votes came from the user groovydeath.eth, who contributed 7 million RAIN.

Impact on BONE’s Market Presence

The successful vote and subsequent adoption of BONE as a payment option are expected to strengthen its position in the market. BONE is trading at $0.6343 at press time,a slight decline of 1% in the last 24hrs. 

Despite recent volatility, the token’s involvement in Shibarium, a layer-2 scaling solution for Shiba Inu, and its role in governance and staking enhance its utility within the ecosystem. Additionally, there is speculation about a potential listing on Coinbase later this year, which could further enhance BONE’s visibility and liquidity.
