Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Says Bitcoin Offers Civil Liberty

  • The 2024 US Presidential campaign continues to be a hug for Bitcoin endorsement.
  • Recently, Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., spoke positively of Bitcoin again.
  • This time, he says Bitcoin will defend civil liberties and guarantees that freedom.

The US Presidential Election Campaign continues to be a hub for Bitcoin discussions. Presently, the candidates standing for the 2024 US Presidential elections stand both in the Pro-Bitcoin and the Anti-Bitcoin category.

In particular, US Presidential candidate, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., is on the Pro-Bitcoin stance. In fact, Kennedy has repeatedly praised Bitcoin and its philosophy multiple times. Today, he makes another exponential comment by connecting Bitcoin to civil liberty.

As we can see from the tweet above, Kennedy says that he is a lifelong defender of civil liberties. He then follows this up with “Bitcoin is both an exercise and a guarantee of those freedom”.

In response, many chime in with admiration for the candidate. While most comments agree with Bitcoin’s ability to provide civil liberty, others wonder if other altcoins are also seen as civil liberties in the eyes of the candidate.

Specifically, many responses point out Dogecoin (DOGE). Another person points out the hypocrisy. They say now that a huge chunk of Bitcoin (BTC) is in the hands of elite individuals, entities, and nation states, this is the reason the asset is gaining support by those in power now.

No doubt, Kennedy is a huge believer and supporter of Bitcoin. He even admitted to buying 2 BTC each for his 7 children. In fact, he also accepted Bitcoin (BTC) in donations for his campaign. Moreover, he spoke positively about the pioneer crypto at the Bitcoin conference.

Therefore, he seems to be on the liberal side of using Bitcoin and not the authoritarian side. We see this is his support for banning CBDCs. Joining him on this stance on  banning CBDC is another US Presidential candidate, Ron DeSantis.
