To specify, evmOS is a world of Ethereum-based applications and assets enhanced by the interoperability provided by Cosmos. This means that Ripple XRP Ledger users can soon collaborate with all EVM-compatible chains and the Ethereum network.

Indeed, this is massive bullish news for the whole crypto community. In detail, the sidechain will be built on evmOS, a production-ready modular solution that leverages Cosmos SDK, CometBFT, and IBC to deliver EVM compatibility to Web3 businesses.

In addition, Ripple reveals that together with Peersyst Technology they will use evmOS to enhance compatibility and connectivity for the XRPL EVM sidechain (devnet) with the Cosmos SDK.

To highlight, this will allow them to achieve access to over 60 Cosmos SDK chains through the Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol (IBC). More so, after this power up from evmOS, the XRPL EVM sidechain will align with industry standards and become one with one of the most versatile Web3 ecosystems, the interchain.

Most importantly, XRPL entering the Interchain will open infinite doors for Ripple and XRP holders. After all, bringing the XRPL to the Interchain will mean networking with users, DApps, and liquidity from over 90 interconnected chains.

XRPL is recognized as one of the pioneering layer 1 blockchain in the space and boasts a mature community. Now, connecting with the Interchain will allow its users to connect with a new dynamic network of chains to foster synergy among diverse Web3 projects, and establish new collaborations to pursue new goals.

Overall, this is a very bullish move for all parties involved and the XRPL Community will gain a passport to all Cosmos SDK chains. Users can soon seamlessly interact and work together to accomplish more.
