Privacy-based network Iron Fish said it will launch its own mainnet on March 14 and that testnet users would receive an airdrop of 940,000 tokens and other features, including burning, trading, mining, and node hosting. Silicon Valley VC giant A16z led a $27.6M round for Iron Fish that closed in 2021.
Notably, Participants in the testnet can utilize this site to sign up for the mainnet token airdrop. Also, by doing this, email addresses will be verified and used to communicate moving forward.
Users with validated emails and testnet points will receive emails notifying them of the Portal’s launch and announcements on their Discord channel. After being informed, consumers are advised to visit the Redemption portal and finish the Verification procedure.
In addition, every recipient of a testnet reward must finish a Know Your Customer (KYC) procedure. Jumio, a reputable KYC service provider, will oversee the process. Users will need a webcam or camera on their phone or a government-issued ID to complete the process.
However, users are told to be aware that Iron Fish is a US corporation and must adhere to US sanctions. So there is a requirement to conduct KYC on each participant in the testnet to confirm their eligibility.
