Last April, Gala Music revealed that the legendary hip-hop group Mount Westmore will be dropping its debut album on its platform. Today, the new supergroup will finally release its new album Bad MFs on Gala Music.
The Mount Westmore is a hip-hop group formed in December 2020 by rappers Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, E-40, and Too Short
“We want to ensure greater creative freedom for artists and to provide new, sustainable avenues for revenue. NFT and Music fans get to experience what they love in new ways through shared incentives and experiences,” stated at the announcement post of Gala Music team.
Ice Cube shared a video along with the announcement of the release of their debut album in a tweet. Adding that purchasing the Mount Westmore collectible has perks coming from the hip-hop group.
The album is set to be dropped later today at 5pm Malta time (8am Pacific Time) in the Gala Music Store. Galaverse Malta attendees that purchase the album will receive all 14 NFTs from Bad MFs in a single purchase.
Bad MFs is categorized as a rare type of Music NFT. The available stocks are only 488 and each one has a price of 36,696.798 GALA (more than $3,000 at the time of writing).
Meanwhile, Gala Music said they plan to collaborate with Kings of Leon in the coming months and will launch the Gala Music token this summer.
