One of America’s largest multinational investment banking and financial services companies — Morgan Stanley, believes that the Metaverse will surely replace what we now actively use. Specifically, it is referring to the mobile internet.

According to the finance titan, there will likely be trillions to make within the Metaverse market. In fact, Morgan Stanley says there is $8 trillion to be made from the China market alone. Certainly, this is not a stretch, the Metaverse could surpass the NFT trend which made over $40 billion in 2021.

This should not be a hard step to take, especially if the mass adoption of the platform arrives soon. No doubt, this can only be determined by steady technological advancements and minimal regulatory challenges.

The fact that the Metaverse could replace the mobile internet is a bold statement. Yet, it holds much weight. This statement shows that a huge renowned company has big expectations of the Metaverse.

Furthermore, it also means that the finance titan believes in the technology and opportunities that come with the Metaverse. This is not surprising. After all, Facebook showed its dedication to the Metaverse by changing the name of its brand to Meta.

Truly, it will be very exciting to see what the Metaverse will bring in the future. More so, since many multi-national companies are already taking major steps to make a mark in the new unexplored space.

In addition, with the boom in the Metaverse, we may also see much stronger technological advancements in the field of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). To compare, this will likely be similar to the rise of DeFi, NFTs, and blockchain gaming that followed the emergence of cryptocurrencies.
