Read CRYPTONEWSLAND onAccording to the announcement thread, the partnership will enable Microsoft to provide Web3 and decentralized finance (DeFi) services through the Aptos network.
In addition, the collaboration will explore further use cases of blockchain such as asset tokenization, borderless payments, and even central bank digital currencies (CBDC), much similar to what Ripple provides.
For its part, Aptos will benefit from Microsoft’s cybersecurity infrastructure. Aptos will also run validator nodes on Azure — Microsoft’s cloud computing service provider.
