Huobi cryptocurrency exchange has stated that its Huobi Cloud Wallet technology will be discontinued in May 2023, citing strategic and product modifications.

Maintenance and improvements of the multi-token wallet service will end on 13 February, according to an announcement on Huobi’s support page. Users who are still utilizing the Cloud Wallet are recommended to transfer their cryptocurrencies and nonfungible tokens (NFTs) to their Huobi main accounts or other wallet addresses.

Withdrawal and transfer capabilities for Huobi Cloud Wallet will be available for the next three months, although users are warned about transferring digital assets to their Cloud Wallet. The official date of shutdown for Huobi Cloud Wallet is 13 May 2023.

Following a $200 million investment by Huobi Group, Huobi Wallet was rebranded as iToken in May 2022. Huobi Cloud Wallet was introduced in October 2021 as a feature of Huobi Wallet, allowing users to handle digital assets without using private keys.
