- Elon Musk has recently been making bullish statements on Bitcoin and Dogecoin.
- It is intended that Twitter will remain available on both the Apple and Google app stores.
- Dogecoin`s market capitalization has doubled since Musk took control of Twitter.
Tesla and Twitter CEO Elon Musk has been making bullish statements about Bitcoin and Dogecoin despite crypto market sell-offs. Currently, he hints about making a new alternative phone in case Google and Apple Inc. remove Twitter from their app store.
The development was confirmed by Musk on Saturday (November 26) in response to a tweet by an American conservative political commentator, Liz Wheeler. “If Apple & Google boot Twitter from their app stores, Elon Musk should produce his own smartphone,” she tweeted.
Elon Musk, however, hoped that Twitter is not removed from the Google play store or the Apple store. The new owner of the micro-blogging platform responded that he will make an alternative phone if such a situation presented itself.
According to the myth being spread in the cryptocurrency community, Musk’s previous public support for Dogecoin would result in the token’s inclusion in the next phone. The additional push comes from the fact that Binance, a cryptocurrency exchange, assisted in financing Musk’s buyout. In order to investigate “ways that blockchain and crypto may be useful to Twitter,” Binance established a team, according to a release.
Dogecoin (DOGE) continues to take center stage as Elon “The Dogefather” Musk transforms Twitter to the fullest extent possible. The top dog meme coin’s market capitalization has doubled since Musk took control of Twitter on October 27th, 2022, rising from $10.6 billion to an astounding $21.77 billion on November 1st. Additionally, DOGE is the second-largest Proof-Of-Work (PoW) cryptocurrency after Bitcoin, with 396 million users worldwide (BTC).
Additionally, as of November 7th, 2022, Twitter spam levels have considerably decreased, according to the most recent numbers made public by Lunar Crush. Given that the amount of internet garbage had been “steadily growing for years,” the 50% drop in spam is pretty unexpected.
