In celebration of its first Disney+ Day, Disney has joined the non-fungible token (NFT) craze. Specifically, Disney has partnered with VeVe marketplace to launch its own limited edition digital collectible NFTs.
According to an announcement, Disney will release its “Golden Moments” collection in preparation for Disney+ Day. This will culminate on November 12, in which the partnership will feature a surprise Ultra Rare digital collectible.
These digital golden statues will take inspiration from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and more. Additionally, customers in selected countries can receive three months of Disney+ subscription courtesy of VeVe. Moreover, those who buy the Ultra Rare collectibles are entitled to 12 months of subscription.
The Disney+ offer is available for new and returning subscribers. Also, only customers who live in selected countries such as the US, the UK, Canada, Singapore, Spain, Germany, Australia, the Netherlands, and Mexico can avail of the offer.
Aside from the collectibles that will arrive with the Disney partnership, VeVe also offers other merchandise such as Powerpuff Girls, DC, Adventure Time, and more.
