CZ Teases Being BLACKPINK Fan. Brand Ambassador Soon?
  • Changpeng Zhao teased he is a “BLACKPINK fan”.
  • Some people guessed at BLACKPINK becoming Binance’s brand ambassador.
  • Binance partnered with South Korean company YG Entertainment.

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) teased on being a fan of South Korean pop sensation BLACKPINK. In fact, he posted a couple of photos showing that he must have met them in person or they sent him a special mail with their signatures.

The tweet garnered around 24,500 likes at the time of writing. As observed in the tweet, there is a Binance Visa card in the picture. Many people pointed out how the debit card is out of its element.

However, one person mentioned the possibility of BLACKPINK becoming a brand ambassador of Binance.

Twitter handle ZILLA’s suggestion may not be far-fetched, as Binance signed a partnership with South Korean YG Entertainment. For those who may not be in the loop regarding k-pop, YG is actually the company behind BLACKPINK and BIGBANG — two of the most successful k-pop groups today.

According to the partnership, YG has agreed to release NFTs for BIGBANG. Hence, the possibility of BLACKPINK releasing collaboration details with Binance is expected soon.
