- ConsenSys has partnered with blockchain network Oasys.
- The partnership will focus on providing infrastructure support for blockchain gaming.
- Yield Guild Games (YGG) is also taking an active role in the partnership’s success.
ConsenSys has revealed its partnership with Oasys, a blockchain network created specifically for gaming. The collaboration seeks to “build better network infrastructure” for blockchain gaming.
Oasys detailed the scope of the partnership in a Medium post. For instance, ConsenSys will offer infrastructure support to the Oasys network through a number of services including MetaMask.
On the other hand, ConsenSys can benefit from the collaboration due to the potential surge of gamers who will use its platforms. Both parties are looking to capitalize on the huge user base that comes from Asian countries such as India, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
Masa Kakiya, Director of ConsenSys, remarked:
“The partnership will be the first step towards building the seamless transitions that will attract a whole new cohort of gamers onto Web3.”
Also part of the partnership is Yield Guild Games (YGG), one of the largest play-to-earn (P2E) guilds today with more than 30,000 scholars scattered across various games. This is possible since YGG Founder Gabby Dizon is also a Co-Founder of Oasys.
Aside from the above-mentioned parties, blockchain game developer double jump.tokyo will become an active collaborator.
Both ConsenSys and Oasys have yet to provide further specific details regarding the partnership. They also did not mention whether they will create a blockchain game or focus on supporting a specific game that already exists.
