The Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection has picked up a new all-time high for its floor price on Friday, April 29. The floor price of BAYC NFT is currently at 152.4 ETH ($432K at the time of writing), as per the data coming from the NFT marketplace OpenSea.
According to the metrics from Coingecko, on September 1, 2021, BAYC’s floor price was at 25 ETH ($70K) only. The floor price made a leap of over 100 ETH ($283K) after January 30, 2022. Since then, the floor price has grown until early March, when the price dropped to 68 ETH ($192K).
Moreover, since September last year, the BAYC floor price has increased around 507.99%.
BAYC has the most expensive floor price for NFTs. This is followed by Proof Collective NFT with a current floor price of 110 ETH ($311K), Cryptopunks NFT (59.99 ETH), Bored Ape Chemistry Club (56 ETH), Mutant Ape Yacht Club (40.86 ETH), and Moonbirds (31.4 ETH).
Bored Ape Yacht Club’s market current capitalization is at 1.5M ETH or $4.3 billion. The data shows 6,352 unique owners hold at least 1 of the 10,000 Bored Ape NFTs. BAYC recorded $1.9 billion in all-time sales across 28,295 on-chain transactions.
BAYC #3749 was the most expensive Bored Ape ever sold. The Bored Ape, wearing a captain’s hat with laser eyes, sold for 740 ETH ($2.9M) at the time.
