The official Twitter page of Elarium expressed its excitement about its recent partnership with Ultra.

Avant Labs AG is a blockchain startup company based in Switzerland. The team consists of over 40 experienced members in different fields, including artists, game designers, blockchain devs, directors, and more.

Elarium is a blockchain-based free-to-play first-person shooter integrated with NFTs as part of the in-game experience. The NFTs have different rarity levels and states of decay — an indication of the character’s skin condition. Also, NFTs in a state of decay could improve via upgrades by repair kits.

The company will launch this year three NFT collections representing the races Humans, Akaris, and Zoyds for early community growth. They will initially launch 9066 Human NFTs, followed by 6044 Akari, and 3022 Zoyd NFTs. However, only half of Akari NFTs can be minted by collectors by burning 2 Human NFTs. Half of Zoyd NFTs will also go live by burning 2 Akari NFTs. Meanwhile, the rest of Akari and Zoyd NFTs will become available via dutch auction.

According to a blog post shared by Ultra on Medium, Ultra and Avant Labs share the same vision of delivering the highest quality blockchain games and improving traditional gamers’ experiences through blockchain technologies.

Ultra CEO Nicolas Gilot said:

“The title incorporates an extremely well thought out skin economy, integrates blockchain technology in a way that adds incredible value to players, and most importantly provides a high-quality standard of gaming that is not currently present in most blockchain games we see today.”

The game will launch in the first quarter of 2023. Meanwhile, the benefits of gaining early access to the game and Collectors Club include skins visible on the NFT, earning passive rewards for staking NFTs, starting clans and inviting friends early, and voting power for game-changing decisions.
