Aptos Foundation and Alibaba Cloud Join Forces to Boost Accessibility and Enhance Web3 Ecosystem in Japan 

• Aptos Foundation and Alibaba Cloud have joined forces to enhance Japan’s web3 ecosystem.
• Together they have launched Alcove, a developer community on a mission to amplify web3 impact.
• Aptos will also host multiple hackathons and run educational events via Alibaba Cloud’s technology.

The Aptos Foundation is collaborating with Alibaba Cloud, known as the digital technology and intelligence backbone of the Alibaba Group. Together, they aim to enhance Japan’s web3 ecosystem and improve regional accessibility in APAC.

Thus, they have launched Alcove, Asia’s first co-branded Move developer community. Alcove will help boost accessibility and encourage innovation across the area. This launch marks a significant milestone for the development of Asia’s web3 industry.

In a nutshell, Alcove will promote smart contract programming languages in the Asia-Pacific region. Its mission is to amplify the impact and capabilities of the Move smart contract programming language among proficient developers. 

With Alcove entering the web3 arena, Alibaba Cloud and Aptos Foundation are facilitating fertile ground for developers to innovate, lead, and thrive. In turn, the partners hope to support the next wave of digital transformation.

Most interestingly, the partners are working together to fortify web3 ecosystems in Japan. Presently, Japan is in a unique position to leverage web3 capabilities and bring them to the global stage.
