In addition to Alibaba Cloud and Avalanche, MUA DAO is the third partner that will facilitate integration and customization for metaverses, according to John Wu, president of Ava Labs. The partnership aims to simplify the process of adopting Web3 technologies for Alibaba Cloud’s partners.

Avalanche’s subnetworks (subnets) are customizable, application-specific blockchains built on top of the main blockchain. Cloudverse will leverage subnets to offer tailored blockchain solutions for clients, enabling them to launch metaverses quickly and efficiently.

Ava Labs CEO Emin Gün Sirer emphasized that the technology is “very easy” to use, with all tools being open source. This partnership aims to provide comprehensive support for builders on the Cloudverse, including visuals, metaeconomics, interactive functions, events, and continued operations. Metaverse spaces are expected to be ready for business approximately one month after initial outreach.

This partnership follows Alibaba Cloud’s December move to provide infrastructure and tools to help Asia-based users launch validators on the Avalanche network, further expanding blockchain adoption in the region. Alibaba Cloud’s collaboration with Avalanche aims to make metaverse creation accessible to its 4 million customers and 10 million developers.
