Twitter is buzzing once again as Finblox shares a striking crypto statistic. In a poll that measures the percentage of a population to own crypto in 2023, the results are astounding! The nation to come out on top is the United Arab Emirates.
As seen from the tweet above, The UAE takes the top spot for holding the top percentage of population to own crypto in 2023. In particular, the UAE holds 27.67%. Following the UAE is Vietnam with 26%, a very close second.
In order, the next three on the list to constitute the top 5 are the United States of America with 13.22%, the Philippines with 13%, and India with 11.5%. The poll was shared by an enthusiastic Twitter user who celebrates India’s position within the top 5.
Indeed, this is a huge win for all the countries. Especially for India and the US who have both faced constant crypto regulation issues from their governments. The same tweet was followed up by Finblox who recognized that 4 of the top 10 countries on the list are situated in Southeast Asia.
The next 5 countries to complete the top 10 list of the percentage of the population that owns crypto in 2023 is just as exciting. In sixth place is Singapore with 11%, almost beating out India. At seventh and eighth place is a draw between Ukraine and Venezuela, both at 10.3%.
Lastly, the list shows South Africa with 10% and Thailand with 9.3%. This was certainly an exciting poll that shows just how unstoppable and fast is the growth of crypto adoption. The least surprising is to see the UAE on top of the list considering the country’s continuous efforts to elevate crypto adoption.
