Bitcoin price is rallying toward the $40,000 psychological resistance level. The upward price movement is due to India’s announcement that it will not ban crypto. MicroStrategy also purchased an additional 660 bitcoins. Christmas appears to have come very early, as Bitcoin price is rallying after a prolonged downtrend. In fact, Bitcoin is now flirting with the $40,000 psychological resistance level after dipping as low as $32,000 in the last week. 26% of Americans own bitcoin, according to Grayscale Research’s 2021 Bitcoin Investor Study. At least 55% of current investors in the US started buying bitcoin in the last 12 months. At the time of writing, Bitcoin price is at $50,110.50. Grayscale Research, the intelligence arm of the investment company, published its 2021 Bitcoin Investor Study. The research focused on the Bitcoin market in the US, in which 1,000 participants were involved in some form of personal investing. According to the study, at least 26% of people in the US now own bitcoin. This is an increase from 23% of last
