Specifically, the partnership will integrate the OpenNode Bitcoin payment app into the Stripe app marketplace. With Stripe’s huge user base extending to millions across different parts of the world, the move will technically open up an option for merchants to convert their revenue into bitcoins.

Soon, Stripe users will be able to download the OpenNode app for free. While the apps have yet to go live in the coming weeks, Stripe already encourages developers to start building their apps on the marketplace.

The announcement came after Bitcoin tumbled from the $30,000 support once again. This has been the case for the last couple of weeks. At the time of writing, Bitcoin price is at $29,378.52, according to CoinGecko.
