The legendary Staples center which is home to NBA teams Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, and Sacramento Kings is now officially wearing the name Crypto.com Arena. This event happened last Dec 25. The Lakers recognized and honored the name change with a pregame video that highlights the team’s greatest moment in the arena.

AEG, the owner and operator of the Staples arena explained,

“This partnership represents the fastest-growing cryptocurrency platform and the biggest sports and live entertainment company in the world converging to drive the future of sports and live entertainment as well as the incredible legacy of this arena for decades to come.”

He added, “It marks an exciting new chapter in the history of our company and our respective industries, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have such a visionary partner like Crypto.com supporting our global fan base and local community.”

At the time of writing, Crypto.com Coin (CRO) trades at a bullish price of $.62 per token with a growth rate of +18% in the past 7 days. In addition, the CRO market cap amounts to almost $16 billion with a 24-hour trading volume of over $381 million. This aggressive performance of the crypto made it one of the top 20 crypto assets in CoinGecko.
