Popular meme coin and Dogecoin emulator Shiba Inu is now listed on Coinbase Pro. Trading for the coin will begin on Thursday, June 17, at 9 AM Pacific Time (PT). The coin was listed along with Chiliz and Keep Network.

Due to the announcement, the price of Shiba Inu surged as many traders started to learn about the new listing.

While the price has appeared to have stabilized at the time of writing, traders will have to see how SHIB will fare once trading has begun. Meanwhile, CHZ also surged in price after the Coinbase Pro listing was announced.

The Shiba Inu community was pleased by the announcement. Also, they are planning to get SHIB listed on more exchanges. In fact, over 150,000 SHIB holders signed a petition to list the coin on the Robinhood app.

While there is no clear announcement that Robinhood will indeed list SHIB on its platform, many coin holders are confident that it will do so soon. At the time of writing, Shiba Inu coin price is $0.00000857, according to CoinGecko.

Meanwhile, in other news, Bitwise recently amassed $70 million in a Series B funding which was participated in by Wall Street investors.
