Redditors Share How To Make Money From Axie Infinity in 2023

The same may be said about NFT games including Axie Infinity. Specifically, many people believe that the game does not provide earning opportunities as it once did in 2021. But is it really so? A couple of Redditors argued otherwise.

In an exclusive interview with CryptoNewsLand (CNL), a Redditor who goes by the name Harmz1229 revealed that there are now multiple ways to earn in the game. The introduction of charms and runes, which are now mintable as NFTs, is one of those.

For those who are not updated with Axie Infinity’s Origins gameplay, each Axie can be equipped with charms and runes to help it become stronger during battles. There can be one rune that can be equipped by an Axie. Meanwhile, each of an Axie’s body parts can be attached with a charm.

He said:

“It’s possible to get pretty expensive [charms and runes]. I have sold some for a total of $50 around this season alone.”

Of course, players can still earn Smooth Love Potion (SLP) when winning battles based on their rank. Unfortunately, those at the lowest ranks do not gain any SLP, which means they have to rank up to monetize their gaming time.

Competing and Flipping

To say that earning $50 from the game in one season is low is a gross understatement. During the peak of the game, people could earn at least $10 daily. But that day may never come again, at least not in the same way as many people imagine.

That does not mean, however, that the game is done and dusted. Nenesk, a Brazillian firefighter and vlogger who plays the game, revealed more ways to earn. According to him, people make sizable profits when flipping Axies. Basically, this means people would look for cheap and undervalued Axies for sale and resell them for a higher price.

When asked for monthly earnings, Nenesk said that one could casually earn $50 per month.

“This depends on so many variables,” Nenesk quipped, “but I would say it is not very hard to make like $50 per month playing the game as a regular player.”

To make money from Axie Infinity in 2023, Nenesk also did another thing: streaming. Specifically, Nenesk would create content around Axie Infinity and some other Web3 games that pique his interest. According to him, streaming boosts his earnings, not to mention helping him connect with other significant people in the Web3 gaming community.

Another tip from Nenesk and Harmz1229 is to keep one’s eyes open for earning opportunities from other platforms. For instance, Harmz1229 invests in metaverse-related tokens and NFT collections like Pengupals x Degenland. Meanwhile, Nenesk is looking forward to playing Illuvium, Aurory, Planet Mojo, and Cross the Ages.

As for Axie Infinity, Sky Mavis has deployed an important milestone in the Homeland gameplay.
