• Pi Network requires validators to complete protocol version 26 before the August 11 deadline.
  • PI price reclaimed short-term resistance and now targets the key $0.096 level.
  • Improving technical indicators suggest recovering momentum, while $0.075 remains critical support.

Pi Network’s latest development has shifted attention back to both network progress and market performance. Developers have introduced another important protocol update while preparing validators for the final stage of the current upgrade cycle. At the same time, PI has started recovering after weeks of heavy selling pressure. Buyers have regained short-term control, creating fresh optimism that another move toward higher resistance levels could follow during the coming sessions.

Pi Network Prepares Validators for the Final Protocol Upgrade

Pi Network has instructed all Mainnet validators to complete protocol version 26 before August 11. Every validator must install the latest software to remain connected to the blockchain. The update also allows each participant to continue supporting network operations without interruption. Developers described version 26 as a major milestone. The release comes before protocol version 27, which marks the final planned upgrade within the current development cycle.

The blockchain has progressed quickly during recent months. Developers completed eight protocol upgrades while improving stability, efficiency, and network performance. Each release introduced refinements that prepared the ecosystem for broader adoption. Version 25 also reached the network, although the Core Team never issued a separate deployment announcement. Earlier instructions required validators to complete that update before July 22.

Community reports later suggested that most validators had already installed version 25. The latest announcement now confirms that migration finished successfully. Attention has therefore shifted toward version 26 and the remaining final upgrade. The current upgrade program started in February with version 19.6. Since then, developers have steadily released newer protocol versions without slowing the rollout schedule. The consistent development pace highlights ongoing work behind the blockchain.

PI Price Eyes $0.096 After Breaking Key Resistance

PI traded near $0.082 after bouncing from a recent market decline. Buyers defended an important support zone and pushed price above a descending resistance trendline. That breakout signals improving short-term momentum. Even so, the broader market structure still requires additional confirmation before a stronger trend develops. The first major recovery target now sits near $0.096.

A successful breakout could open the path toward the 50-day Exponential Moving Average near $0.104. Higher resistance appears near $0.118. Another obstacle waits near the 100-day EMA around $0.125. The 200-day EMA near $0.165 remains the strongest long-term challenge. Technical indicators also show encouraging signs. The Relative Strength Index has climbed near 37 after leaving oversold conditions.

Selling pressure has weakened, although buyers remain cautious. The Moving Average Convergence Divergence indicator has also turned slightly positive. That shift reflects improving momentum across lower timeframes. Stronger buying volume would provide stronger confirmation. Support remains around $0.075.
