Philippines Crowned Most Interested in Web3 Gaming, Again

  1. CoinGecko announces its research on countries most interested in Web3 gaming.
  2. Once again, for the third time in a row, the Philippines takes the crown.
  3. It is followed by Nigeria and then Pakistan.

CoinGecko released its latest findings on the top 15 countries most interested in Web3 gaming. Once again, the country that came out on top is the Philippines. The country is holding this title once again for the third year.

According to CoinGecko’s findings, the Philippines has held the title of most interested country in Web3 gaming from 2021 to 2023. The research findings have been determined by Web3 gaming-related search interest by country. 

Following up on the Philippines this year is Nigeria, which dethroned China for second place. Nigeria was in third place last year and has now taken second place. The third place this year was snagged by Pakistan that wasn’t even in the top 5 last year. 

In order, the top 15 countries for the year 2023 who showed interest in Web3 gaming are as follows; the top three are Philippines, Nigeria, and Pakistan. The next is Singapore, Vietnam, South Korea, Hong Kong, and the Netherlands. 

Following after, on the leaderboard this year, is China, which dropped by a lot compared to the last two years and then Kenya. Finally, the last five are Lebanon, Nepal, Sri Lanka, India, and lastly, the UAE.

After the many projects that have been announced this year, it will be very exciting to see which countries enter or shoot up this list for next year. A close market to keep an eye on would certainly be the UAE. 

Recently, the UAE has made many strategic moves and partnerships to bring more Web3 projects within its borders. The latest of which was a teaser from the leaders of Coinbase. Amid the turbulent conditions in the USA due to the SEC cases, Coinbase hinted at moving their headquarters to the UAE
