Kaspa (KAS) is making remarkable strides in blockchain infrastructure with the use of GHOSTDAG protocol. Whereas traditional linear blockchains, such as Bitcoin, discard blocks so that it allows parallel block creation, the GHOSTDAG is a directed acyclic graph (i.e. blockDAG) configuration. This approach allows rapid block generation with a current rate of one block per second and a goal of up to 100 blocks per second. Minimal confirmation times, as the architecture is mainly partially determined by the network latency.
The Kaspa protocol is based on advanced features such as reachability of DAG topology analysis, block data pruning, SPV proofs, and it plans to support subnetworks. These are meant to increase Layer 2 style performance and potential Layer 2 integrations. Also, Kaspa has a unique emission schedule motivated by the chromatic scale music, where block rewards geometrically decrease each month. Initially, the first block reward of 440 KAS was issued on 7 May 2022, with a smooth monthly cutting down in a year so that it becomes half the value every year.

DeXe Protocol is setting itself up as a framework to create decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) focused on meritocratic participation and incentive alignment. It gives DAOs creation and governance tools that emphasize expertise and scalability. On the other hand, the DeXe DAO is the protocol’s governor on the chain, which is governed through on-chain governance decisions using the $DEXE token.
DeXe’s infrastructure envisions a more sustainable DAO by pushing active participation by its members and making it so that governance reflects the capabilities of the participants. In order to strengthen its ecosystem, the protocol has formed strategic partnerships like its tie up with SwissBorg. The DeXe Association, a non profit entity, supports governance and development of the protocol and the alignment with core objectives.

Story is a blockchain protocol (Layer 1) that manages IP on the internet. Its purpose is to facilitate IP assets registration, licensing, and monetization on a blockchain-based verification and tracking. The IP is used as native transaction fees, IP registration, licensing, staking, and governance.
Story has a few tools, Story Explorer, StoryKit which helps in UI development, IP Hub is a cluster system for permissionless IP use and a Licensing Module. Finally, dispute resolution is supported by using a staking based module on the blockchain. As per the official media, 25% of its total supply of 1 billion tokens will be issued in its February 2025 token generation event, with a total supply of 1 billion tokens. Story is actively trying to be listed on exchanges such as Coinbase and OKX.
