FTX entreated a judge to permit examination, under oath, of Bankman-Fried’s associates and a raft of the company’s former top executives as part of a hunt to locate undisclosed resources that may be drawn upon to remunerate creditors to the sum of billions of dollars in debt.
The document also revealed that Gabriel Bankman-Fried, the brother of Sam Bankman-Fried, created a group that pressured US Congressmen. It supposedly operated out of a building close to the US Capitol.
