In its most recent effort to acquire more users, the crypto project Floki is targeting China while eschewing its meme currency reputation.

In the next months, FLOKI will introduce a China-specific version of Valhalla, a metaverse game that uses FLOKI tokens, as well as a three-month airdrop campaign for Btok users.

There will be both traditional Chinese and simplified Chinese versions of the game’s content and technical documents, and it will be marketed exclusively to the Chinese gaming market.

In the fourth quarter of 2022, the first significant release of Valhalla with Open World became live. On the Optimism Goerli testnet, it is currently playable. After launch, users on the mainnet version would be required to hold a particular quantity of FLOKI in their wallets in order to play a character. Battles will also allow users to acquire FLOKI tokens.

The market value of Floki is $300 million. It is based on the popular Shiba Inu dog breed, which has inspired popular tokens such as Dogecoin and Shiba inu.

In other news, Webacy secures a $5M investment, bolstering its next-generation cryptocurrency wallet. Webacy is a technology layer and does not compete with crypto wallets such as MetaMask.
