FLOKI and Valhalla Announce Major Sponsorship for India’s Sri Lanka Tour Gaining Global Exposure

  • Floki and Valhalla’s sponsorship will feature high-visibility assets during India’s Sri Lanka cricket tour, attracting up to 220 million viewers.
  • The Women’s Asia Cup 2024, supported by Floki, runs from July 19-28, showcasing top Asian cricket teams in a Twenty20 format.
  • The APAC region, with over 1.4 billion gamers, is crucial for Valhalla’s growth, emphasizing the popularity of Play-to-Earn games.

Floki has entered into a partnership with Valhalla to boost its exposure. Valhalla, a multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), will now be the Associate Sponsor for India’s cricket tour of Sri Lanka. This collaboration promises extensive exposure through high-visibility assets such as mid-wicket pitch mats, ground LED boards, and backdrops.

The cricket series is highly anticipated, especially following India’s recent T20 World Cup triumph. The tour kicks off with consecutive T20 Internationals on July 27 and continues with an ODI series starting on August 1.

Sri Lankan viewers can enjoy the matches on Siyatha TV and Dialog (Sony Ten), while Indian fans can catch the action on the Sony Sports Network and Sony Liv App.

Previously, Floki sponsored the Women’s Cricket Asia Cup 2024, showcasing cricket’s growing fan base. This new collaboration with Valhalla will further extend its reach, utilizing assets such as boundary ropes, perimeter boards, mid-wicket logo mats, and backdrops.

The Women’s Asia Cup 2024, hosted by Sri Lanka from July 19 to July 28, includes 15 matches with the top eight cricket teams from Asia, played in the popular Twenty20 format.

Valhalla offers gamers a captivating, player-driven experience in a Norse mythology-inspired universe, powered by FLOKI. The Asia-Pacific (APAC) region is essential for Valhalla, representing a hub of rapid economic growth and digital adoption. As the fastest-growing market for online gaming, the APAC region boasts over 1.4 billion gamers.

In June, Floki announced its plan to establish a school in India, part of its ongoing commitment to education. The platform has already completed successful projects in Ghana, Guatemala, Laos, and Nigeria.

The Floki and Valhalla partnership signifies a major step in elevating Valhalla’s visibility through cricket’s widespread popularity. This collaboration aims to engage a vast audience, particularly in the rapidly growing APAC market.
