• Pioneer altcoin ETH could be setting up for a massive catch-up rally.
  • Next targets for ETH sit at $2,800, $3,6000, and $4,500.
  • Can ETH reclaim its previous ATH this year?

The crypto market continues to show small signs of a bullish move towards a market recovery. Presently, the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum are trading in the $83,000 and $2,400 price ranges. The last 24 hours has allowed ETH to climb from the $2,300 to the $2,400 price range, opening conversations for a greater recovery soon. According to one analyst, ETH could be setting up for a massive catch-up rally.

ETH Could Be Setting Up For a Massive Catch-Up Rally

Next Targets for ETH: $2,800, $3,600, and $4,500 at the $2,450 price range, showing that the asset is up by almost 3% over the last 24 hours. However, in terms of the last 7 days and the last 30 days, the asset is down by over 2% and 8% respectively. For the price of ETH to reclaim its previous ATH prices in the $4,950 price range, the asset will need to see a surge from its current prices by over 50%.

Ethereum holders and investors have been deeply disappointed by the price activity of Ethereum in the last bull cycle. In detail, when the price of BTC went on to set new multiple new ATH prices from the $70,000 till as high as the $126,000 price range, where the current BTC ATH record sits at now. Meanwhile, the price of ETH saw a very small surge in prices sending the price of ETH to a new ATH record at the $4,900 price range.

Next Targets for ETH: $2,800, $3,600, and $4,500

That new ATH record for ETH was highly disappointing as the previous ATH price for ETH was sitting at the $4,800 price range, making the new ATH record a sad record compared to the surge that Bitcoin had experienced over the cycle. What most analyst expected to see was for the price of ETH to hit a $5,000 ATH and then enter a price discovery range, allowing for greater ATHs as far as the $15,000 price range.

Instead, what the market saw was the greatest liquidation event that sent some promising altcoin projects into bankruptcy. Now, an entire year since that largest single-day liquidation event, the prices of ETH and altcoins continue to complete multi-year bullish patterns and analysts are waiting for Bitcoin Dominance to collapse, opening the window for the long-awaited altseason peak phase to play out.

As we can see from the post above, this analyst says that Ethereum could be setting up for a massive catch-up rally. The post goes on to highlight how the Russell 2000 has led ETH for years, and right now the two are further apart than they have ever been. The October 10 crash broke the correlation and sent crypto into its own bear market, while Russell kept climbing to a new ATH while ETH was left behind.

Presently, Russell is down 11% from ATH and just bounced 1.67% from key support. If it keeps pushing higher, it could signal a major reversal for the price of ETH. Then the post goes on to conclude with key levels to watch for ETH, with the next expected surge targets to be sitting at the $2,800, $3,600, and $4,500 price range. After this reclaiming ATH prices may begin.
