  1. Bybit announces strategic partnership with Dubai’s DMCC.
  2. Together they hope to elevate adoption of crypto and Web3 in Dubai.
  3. The partners are committed to investing in the future of blockchain technology.

Bybit, the world’s third most popular cryptocurrency exchange, makes an official announcement about a strategic collaboration with the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC). This partnership aims to accelerate the adoption of cryptocurrencies and Web3 technology in Dubai.

As we can see from the tweet above, the partners are working to fuel innovation and investing in the future of blockchain tech. In particular, the partnership aims to fulfill Bybit’s commitment to investing in the Web3 ecosystem within the emirate and promote widespread crypto adoption.

As part of the collaboration, Bybit will become an official Ecosystem Partner for the DMCC Crypto Centre, which is the largest cluster of crypto and Web3 businesses in the MENA region. In fact, Bybit and DMCC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

This memorandum supports the growth of the crypto community in the region. Bybit has pledged AED 500,000 in financial support to assist 15 new Web3 companies in their growth journeys at the DMCC Crypto Centre. These startups must meet the compliance and due diligence requirements set by DMCC to qualify for this opportunity.

Furthermore, Bybit will serve as DMCC’s crypto listing partner and provide assistance in other blockchain-related projects. The exchange will play an active role in advising and guiding projects at the DMCC Crypto Centre. This includes sharing their expertise and technical knowledge to help these startups succeed and get listed on the Bybit platform.

The collaboration will also include two hackathons. These events will bring together developers, entrepreneurs, and industry experts to collaborate and generate innovative ideas for the crypto and Web3 sectors.

The DMCC Crypto Centre will provide Bybit with opportunities for collaboration with innovative entrepreneurs and founders in the crypto and Web3 space. Bybit will contribute to the Centre’s knowledge-sharing and capacity-building efforts through webinars, curated courses, educational content, and awareness campaigns.
