• DOGE trades below key resistance levels as inflation concerns pressure sentiment.
  • Analysts watch $0.10 closely for confirmation of a bullish breakout pattern.
  • Whale activity increases while futures open interest and ETF flows weaken.

Dogecoin is at a critical point as traders weigh near-term weakness against long-term bullish expectations. Recent price action has favored sellers, pushing DOGE below key technical levels. At the same time, several analysts continue watching the $0.10 area closely. A potential breakout above that zone could change market sentiment quickly. Until then, investors remain caught between macroeconomic pressure, fading derivatives activity, and hopes for a larger trend reversal.

Market Pressure Keeps DOGE Under Key Resistance

Dogecoin traded around $0.0789 on Thursday, extending a recent correction. The $0.0800 level has become a major barrier. Every recovery attempt has faced resistance near that area. Investor sentiment has also softened due to inflation concerns. Recent U.S. Consumer Price Index data showed inflation rose to 3.7% in September. That figure exceeded market expectations and increased uncertainty ahead of the next Federal Reserve decision.

Higher energy costs continue driving inflation higher. As a result, many traders have reduced exposure to risk assets. Spot ETF activity reflects that caution. Dogecoin-related investment products recorded outflows of roughly $139,000 on Wednesday. A day earlier, outflows reached $399,000. Despite recent withdrawals, cumulative inflows remain at $15 million. Derivatives data paints a similar picture.

Futures open interest stood at 15.2 billion DOGE on Thursday. That figure declined from 15.5 billion DOGE a day earlier. Activity also remains below the October peak of 16.6 billion DOGE. Technical indicators continue favoring bears. DOGE trades below every major daily exponential moving average. The 100-day EMA stands at $0.0859. The 50-day EMA sits at $0.0871. Both levels remain above current price action.

Analysts Watch $0.10 Breakout Level

Despite current weakness, several analysts remain optimistic about Dogecoin’s larger trend. Analyst Trader Tardigrade points to a developing inverse head and shoulders pattern on the monthly chart. Similar conditions appeared before the major rally in 2021. During that cycle, price broke above a key neckline before surging to new highs. This time, the neckline sits near $0.10. Price continues testing that region from below.

According to the analyst, a monthly close above that level would confirm a breakout and strengthen the bullish case. Whale activity has added another layer of interest. Recent data showed movements totaling 300 million DOGE, valued near $24 million. Such transfers often attract attention because large holders can influence market dynamics.

Another analyst, Crypto Patel, highlighted a long-term descending trendline and a multi-year accumulation zone. He believes DOGE is retesting a significant technical structure. Patel identifies $0.1186 as the next major resistance level. A successful breakout above that area could open the door for larger gains. His upside targets stand at $0.2818, $0.7559, and eventually $2 during a future bull market.
