Crypto Fans Show Support to Influencer in Financial Distress

  1. Influencer Crypto Tea shared her financial situation to the crypto space.
  2. Many expressed empathy and support, with some offering practical help.
  3. Another influencer named Fernando Perez Algaba, debt-stricken,  was murdered.

Crypto influencer Alexa, also known as Crypto Tea, took her distress to social media to help “others who are also struggling.” To this, crypto fans showed their support in multiple ways.

Someone even suggested that Crypto Tea initiate a crowdfunding via GoFundMe.

Others suggested that Crypto Tea mint her own tokens, which the influencer declined.

Another advised the influencer to seek support from cancer groups as her mother is being treated for the said disease.

Crypto Tea has at least 100,000 followers on Twitter/X and her tweets and YouTube videos garner thousands of views. She focuses on providing technical and entertaining content related to cryptocurrencies and recently, artificial intelligence (AI).

In another news, another crypto influencer named Fernando Perez Algaba was found dead on July 23. His body was dismembered and placed inside a suitcase, although autopsy showed that he was shot multiple times prior to the dismemberment. 

Algaba was accused of fraud and one of the companies he founded is in debt. According to sources, he was being pursued by creditors for years.

It is not clear why Algaba was murdered, although some suggested that it may be because Algaba owed someone money or he might have had a financial dispute with another person.

One suspect is already in custody by the police, although investigations are still ongoing.
