Crypto.com has announced a new Global Retail Services program which will simplify cryptocurrency transactions for users in over 90 countries. 

The service will be accessible through the Crypto.com App. Its main role will be to improve deposit and withdrawal capabilities, with the goal of streamlining the user experience and increasing efficiency in cryptocurrency transaction management.

Initial rollout in the UAE

The Global Retail Services will initially be available in the United Arab Emirates. Residents of the UAE can now use the Crypto.com App to buy, sell, and trade over 250 cryptocurrencies. 

The effort is a major step toward increasing regional accessibility. The services will then expand to other nations in the near future. Crypto.com is devoted to providing consistent accessibility and convenience to its global user base as it expands.

Partnership with Standard Chartered

A collaborative agreement with Standard Chartered enables Crypto.com to expand its services. The partnership offers  banking and payment solutions that benefit Crypto.com’s global operations. Standard Chartered offers solutions that provide near-real-time deposit and withdrawal processing. 

The services are available in various currencies such as USD, EUR, and AED. The partnership is expected to improve the platform’s ability to provide efficient and reliable services to its consumers worldwide.

Regulatory Support in Dubai

The regulatory framework established by Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority provides further support for the establishment of Global Retail Services. Crypto.com was one of the first platforms to acquire full operational approval from VARA which has ensured that the service runs in a secure and compliant environment. 

The introduction of the Global Retail Services marks a major milestone for crypto.com in its global expansion strategy. The partnership with Standard Chartered and VARA’s approval in Dubai will help Crypto.com to extend its service offerings, providing consumers around the world with more efficient and secure bitcoin transactions.
