Raydium — RAY, has suddenly become one of Solana’s strongest performers after a remarkable weekly surge. RAY gained 96.5% over seven days, reaching levels unseen since January. Thursday added another 9%, extending a rally that began Sunday. Fresh tokenized stock launches have strengthened demand around Raydium’s ecosystem. Record network activity has also added weight to the bullish narrative. Meanwhile, a record buyback removed more RAY from circulation. Traders now wonder whether momentum can carry RAY toward higher resistance levels.
Tokenized Stocks Strengthen Raydium’s Growth Story
Raydium launched more than 15 tokenized US stocks on Solana Network. The lineup includes Boeing, Costco, Reddit, Lululemon, and Roblox. Users can trade these assets around the clock through Backpack Securities and Sunrise Protocol. The launch connects Raydium with the expanding real-world asset sector. Tokenized stocks allow blockchain users to gain exposure to traditional financial assets. Raydium now benefits from growing interest across both crypto and traditional markets.
CoinGecko highlighted several developments behind RAY’s recent strength. StonkFun moved all new launches to Raydium LaunchLab. Backpack’s Grindr token also routes through Raydium. Raydium recorded the largest buyback in platform history on September 9. Pump.fun also introduced Custom Pairs for trading memecoins against tokenized stocks. This development creates another connection between two major Solana narratives.
Memecoins remain a major source of activity across Solana. Tokenized real-world assets represent another rapidly developing sector. Raydium now sits at the intersection of both markets. The combination could increase trading activity across Raydium’s ecosystem. Higher activity may also create stronger demand for RAY over time. However, sustained growth will require continued adoption beyond the initial launch excitement.
Record Buyback Adds Fuel as RAY Targets $1.50
Raydium bought back $640,788 worth of RAY tokens on Wednesday. The purchase marked the largest single buyback recorded by the platform. Cumulative buybacks have now reached approximately $2.1 million. Buybacks reduce the number of tokens available within the circulating supply. Lower supply can support price growth when demand remains healthy. The latest purchase therefore adds another bullish element to RAY’s current setup.
On-chain activity also shows significant growth across Raydium. Santiment recorded 1,074 new addresses transferring RAY for the first time Wednesday. DeFiLlama reported 470,817 SOL staked on Raydium. Active addresses reached 162,085 during the same period. Transactions also climbed to 3.1 million, marking monthly highs. These figures show stronger network engagement alongside the sharp price increase.
Raydium also expanded trading support for Bittensor and Dogecoin earlier this week. More trading pairs could attract additional users and liquidity. Such expansion strengthens Raydium’s position within Solana’s decentralized exchange sector. RAY currently trades around $1.65 as of September 10, 2026. The token remains above the 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day exponential moving averages. Technical structure therefore continues to favor buyers despite stretched short-term momentum.
