• Players can now play early access to Axie Infinity Origin using Android phones.

Axie Infinity Origin, which is at its early access testing phase, has taken a step closer to its full global launch. The popular NFT game announced on Twitter quoting “Axie Infinity: Origin is LIVE on Android Mobile devices!”

“This is a really important step for our movement because now anyone can get started with three free starter Axies,” said Co-Founder Jeff Zirlin. “Fall in love with the game, the universe, the art, the community, without having to make any economic decision or go through crypto onboarding.”

This means that users can now play the game, even without owning the required game’s NFT called ‘Axies.’ Players just need to download Axie Infinity: Origin’s mobile or desktop version.

A guide for Origin put together by Axie.Tech is also available to those in need of help learning the new mechanics.

Meanwhile, the mobile release was accompanied by a patch of updates and upgrades, including upgrading 16 aspects of the player interface, adding “Full HD Graphic” option in settings, reducing the volume of opening sound at the start of the game, and fixing the ‘Scry’ bug.

In addition, Origin’s Bloodmoon round will now start during round 15 and all status and rune effects will simultaneously activate. This means that matches will be faster.

The succeeding global launch of Origin will incorporate token rewards, crafting NFT runes/ charms, and AXS prize leaderboard. The transition of global launch will depend on the feedback the team will receive over the following months.
