- APT surged 13% after Block-STM v2 boosted throughput and network activity.
- Daily active accounts and transactions climbed, signaling stronger ecosystem engagement.
- APT faces key resistance at $0.8777, with $1 becoming a potential target.
Aptos is back to traders’ watchlists after a strong price rebound. Recently, APT gained more than 13% within 24 hours as altcoins led a broader market recovery. Growing excitement around a major network upgrade also helped fuel interest. Trading volume climbed to nearly $100 million, showing renewed participation across the ecosystem. With network activity rising and technical resistance under pressure, many investors are now waiting to see if APT will sustain momentum above the key $0.87 level.
Block-STM v2 Upgrade Drives Network Growth
Aptos Labs recently completed the Block-STM v2 upgrade. The update went live on October 15 and introduced improvements focused on throughput and scalability. Several blockchain projects are also building on this technology, adding further attention to the release. The network reacted quickly after the launch. Transaction processing capacity improved, while user activity moved higher.
Transaction per second performance reached a peak of 1,308. Real-time throughput also showed healthy growth, highlighting stronger network efficiency. User participation increased alongside performance metrics. Daily Active Accounts rose from 46,670 to 49,385. Monthly active accounts also reached a new high of 710,712. That milestone arrived with more than two weeks remaining in October.
New user creation continued trending upward. New accounts climbed from 4,098 to 4,395. Transaction activity followed the same path. Daily transactions increased from 9.575 million to 10.91 million. These figures suggest growing engagement across the Aptos ecosystem. Rising adoption often strengthens investor confidence. That dynamic appears to be supporting APT’s recent recovery.
Can Bulls Finally Break Through Resistance?
Despite the strong rebound, a major challenge remains. The $0.8777 level continues acting as a stubborn barrier. Several attempts to move above that zone have failed. One breakout attempt even reversed sharply only days ago. At the time of analysis, APT traded above that resistance area. The move also pushed the SuperTrend indicator toward a bullish signal.
However, traders still need further confirmation before declaring a sustained breakout. Momentum indicators offer mixed signals. The RSI Divergence remained bearish. Yet the Relative Strength Index climbed to 62.41, moving comfortably above neutral territory. That reading points to improving buying strength. A successful breakout could send attention toward the next resistance level near $0.9653.
Previous selling pressure emerged around that area. Buyers would likely face another important test there. If momentum continues building, APT could challenge the $1 mark. Strong network activity and improving sentiment support that possibility. For now, traders will focus on whether bulls can hold control above $0.8777 and transform resistance into support.
