Bitcoin futures trading on Bitget achieved $4.76 billion during this period, while VOXEL/USDT futures amounted to $12.7 billion. Such a massive divergence in volume for the same period has caused analysts to doubt its origins.

A Bitget spokesperson confirmed the irregularity, and his team began investigating sources of abnormal trading activity on the exchange. The exchange declared that its platform services, such as trading, deposits, and withdrawals, worked correctly at this time. The service notes that user accounts might be inaccessible because of active risk management procedures.

Bitget’s VOXEL Price Swings Spark Market Reaction 

The VOXEL trading increase was directly related to severe market price fluctuations. During 24 hours, the token value increased by 179%, jumping from $0.0415 to $0.1166. VOXEL increased by 127% within two hours before continuing its growth at 235%, reaching $0.1790 during the subsequent four hours.  

The price momentum experienced a sudden decline. In 13 hours, the price performed a significant correction, dropping 50% from its peak. At present, VOXEL holds a trading position at $0.0897. The token’s current market capitalisation reaches $21.8 million, and the 24-hour trading volume surpasses $400 million.

The crypto analyst alerted users regarding suspicious market activities involving VOXEL.
